Visit to Lviv Municipal ATP-1
Future bus drivers visited ATP-1 in Lviv.

Participants of the She Drives project got acquainted with the largest transport enterprise of the city – Lviv Municipal ATP-1. Women learned about working conditions, schedule, salary and even had the opportunity to personally drive a bus.
In Lviv, 15 participants were selected for training on a competitive basis. They are currently completing free training at one of the city’s driving schools and will soon receive category “D” driving licenses.
Participants of the excursion shared their impressions:
💬 “The emotions after the test drive are extremely positive! I am ready to work at ATP-1 at least today. I want to appeal to women: do not be afraid to try something new, get out of your comfort zone. This is a really cool experience and an interesting profession,” shared project participant Olga.
💬 “It is important for me that there is an official transparent salary here. And I feel real pleasure behind the wheel. Yes, there are stereotypes about women in this profession, but I am ready to break them and move forward,” said Olesya, who works as a confectioner but wants to radically change the direction of her professional activity.
The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support from the governments of France, Poland and Sweden.
