Presentation of the analytical study "Gender Gaps in Municipal Transport"

🔍 What are the gender gaps in the field of municipal transport?

This question was at the center of the presentation of the analytical study "Gender Gaps in the Field of Municipal Transport", conducted to identify barriers for women in the profession of public transport driver and formulate recommendations for overcoming them.

📊 Key results of the study:

▪️ 70% of women noted that their profession is perceived by society as "atypical" for women.

▪️ The income level of women in the field is 25-30% lower than that of men.

▪️ 78% of respondents reported worsening working conditions due to increased safety risks.

▪️ Infrastructure remains unadapted - women's restrooms and rest areas are often missing.

📌 The study also analyzed:

• factors affecting women's career growth;

• personnel policy and professional training opportunities;

• the impact of gender stereotypes and social barriers.

Gender equality in the transport sector is a necessary condition for sustainable development, employment growth and the formation of an inclusive working environment.

The implementation of the recommendations will contribute to improving working conditions, increasing the efficiency of enterprises and the European integration of Ukraine.
