She Drives at URC 2026 in Gdansk

Over 1,000 kilometers from Kyiv to Gdansk. One common message: Ukrainian women are already the driving force behind Ukraine’s recovery today.

The meeting of the Alliance for Gender-Responsible and Inclusive Recovery within the framework of URC2026 began with the arrival of the “She Drives to URC2026” bus – a symbol of leadership, professionalism and contribution of Ukrainian women to the country’s recovery.

The bus was driven by Viktoriya Malinovska – a participant in the She Drives project and a driver for the Euroclub company.

She showed by her own example that women confidently drive buses not only on city but also on international routes. Her professionalism, calmness and confidence attracted the attention of the conference participants, making Victoria one of the brightest heroines of URC 2026.

Throughout the conference, the She Drives project team actively worked in the fields of URC 2026. It presented the results of the project to international partners, shared its experience in creating opportunities for women in the transport industry, held dozens of meetings and established new partnerships for the further development of the initiative.

URC 2026 became not only a platform for presenting achievements, but also an opportunity to unite partners around a common goal - to create more opportunities for women and work together to restore Ukraine.

The “She Drives” initiative, which aims to expand the professional potential of women in the transportation sector, is implemented within the framework of UN Women Ukraine’s Strategic Note (2025–2029), with financial support from the Governments of Austria, Denmark, Norway, Poland, Finland, France, and Sweden. The project is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Recovery, Infrastructure, and Transport of Ukraine and the NGO “Foundation for Institutional Development”.
