First aid training for She Drives participants
About 35 participants of the She Drives project from both directions are mastering the skills to obtain a driver's qualification card (Code 95).

One of the main elements of the training is first aid training - an important component of the professional training of female drivers working on intercity and international routes.
During the classes, participants study algorithms for actions in the event of road accidents, learn to assess the condition of victims, stop bleeding, perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation, provide assistance in case of injuries, loss of consciousness and other critical conditions before the arrival of medical services.
The training is conducted in a practical format with the practice of real scenarios, which allows not only to master the theory, but also to build confidence in their own actions in stressful situations.
After all, a female driver on the road is not only a driver, but also a person who can be the first to provide assistance and save a life.
The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support from the governments of France, Poland and Sweden.
