Participants of the She Drives project set off on a test drive along an international route
๐ Participants of the She Drives project received vouchers for a trial international trip alongside a FlixBus driver. This is not just a journey, but a real experience of immersion in the profession and an opportunity to see everything from the inside.

Natalia and Lilia recently returned from a trip to Warsaw and shared their impressions.
๐ข What does such a trip give you?
Natalia emphasized the following:
โช๏ธ understanding the realities of working on international routes;
โช๏ธ the opportunity to talk to experienced drivers and find answers to questions that concern you;
โช๏ธ FlixBus already has female drivers, and colleagues sincerely support those who are just starting their journey;
โช๏ธ contacts for potential employment and even more faith in their strengths.
๐ข And what were your impressions?
Lilia says that the drivers they traveled with were friendly, open, and ready to share their experiences. During the trip, they talked about their work, the nuances of the flights, shared life hacks and even treated them to dessert with coffee.
And the FlixBus drivers were inspiring: โWomen can do anything. The main thing is a goal and faith in yourself. Donโt listen to those who say that this is โnot a womanโs profession.โ
๐ข Why is this important?
โThe support of people who have already gone this way is invaluable. Each such trip proves that the profession of a driver of international flights is real, affordable, and promising,โ Nataliya noted with gratitude.
Thank you to FlixBus for the partnership and to our participants for the courage to try something new.
The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support from the governments of France, Poland and Sweden.
