Results of She Drives' participation in the Career Festival
She Drives at the Career Festival is four days of conversations about new professions, bold decisions, and opportunities that the field of freight and bus transportation opens up for women today.

This year, the Career Festival was visited by almost 100,000 guests, and 302 participants joined the event: companies, educational organizations, state institutions, and public initiatives.
From May 21 to 24, we talked to visitors at the She Drives location about training, retraining, and career opportunities. Guests got to know the project, participated in activities, asked questions about the profession of a driver, and shared their stories of professional changes.
The panel discussion “Opportunities in logistics: how to find yourself in a new profession?” was especially valuable. Together with the participants and partners, we discussed how the labor market is changing today, what skills are needed to get started, and why logistics is becoming a field of new opportunities for women.
Special thanks to Tetyana Zherebetskaya, a participant in the She Drives project, who shared her story of retraining and working as a bus driver. It is such stories that best show that starting a new professional path is possible at any age and without prior experience in the industry.
We sincerely thank the official importer of Volvo Trucks in Ukraine for supporting the She Drives location at the Career Festival and promoting professions in the transport sector.
See you at the next Career Festival at VDNG on May 20-23, 2027. 💙
The “She Drives” initiative, which aims to expand the professional potential of women in the transportation sector, is implemented within the framework of UN Women Ukraine’s Strategic Note (2025–2029), with financial support from the Governments of Denmark, Finland, France, Norway, Poland, and Sweden. The project is implemented in partnership with the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine and the NGO “Foundation for Institutional Development”.
