Training for the municipal enterprise "Poltavaelectroavtotrans"
As part of the She Drives project, we conducted training on respecting women's rights in the workplace for a pilot utility company.

Respecting women’s rights in the workplace is not only a standard, but also an opportunity for companies to create a safe, fair and equal working environment for all.
To implement such changes at municipal enterprises that have become partners in the project for training and employing female bus drivers, the She Drives team conducted a training on gender equality and social inclusion for employees of the municipal enterprise “Poltavaelectroavtotrans”.
The event was the first step towards implementing modern workplace standards aimed at creating a safe, comfortable and fair environment at enterprises that will employ female participants in the She Drives project.
The training covered the following key topics:
– the impact of team diversity on productivity and decision quality;
– work-life balance;
– ensuring equal pay;
– preventing and combating harassment in the workplace;
– effective practices for supporting equal opportunities for women and men;
– ways to increase tolerance and mutual respect in the team.
Similar training events were also held for two more pilot municipal enterprises – the municipal enterprise “City Trolleybus” in Kryvyi Rih and Lviv ATP No. 1 in Lviv.
If you want to adopt the experience of pilot enterprises and build a favorable environment in your team – write to us: she.drives.info@gmail.com.
The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support from the governments of France, Poland and Sweden.
