Visit to the municipal enterprise "Kyivpastrans"
Project participants continue to get acquainted with employers and their working conditions.

On April 29, the participants visited the municipal enterprise "Kyivpastrans" with an excursion - one of the largest municipal carriers in Ukraine, whose services are used daily by more than 1.5 million passengers.
🔍 During the visit, the women learned about:
▪️ the features and conditions of work in the municipal transport enterprise;
▪️ requirements for drivers and features of the work schedule;
▪️ the system of training new drivers and internship opportunities.
In addition to getting acquainted with the work of the enterprise, the participants had the opportunity to talk to drivers who are already working on the routes, hear their stories, real challenges and advantages of the profession firsthand.
There was also a test drive of municipal buses.
👩✈️ Such experience helps future drivers better understand their expectations, determine a convenient work format and build confidence in their own professional choice.
The project "Expanding the professional potential of women in the field of transportation" is being implemented by the NGO Foundation for Institutional Development on the initiative of the Ministry for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, in partnership with UN Women and under the financial support from the governments of France, Poland and Sweden.
